Most actives are suspended in water or silicone — a film your skin pushes off. Ours ride a base with a fatty-acid profile close to your skin's own, so it's read as the same material and let in, actives and all.
You can feel each consequence: absorbs instead of layering — no pilling under makeup. Carries — a gentler active does more. Holds what's underneath in place.

The scienceIt is the saturated and monounsaturated fraction that matters — stearic, palmitic and oleic. That ratio makes a base stable and skin-familiar. Lower grades carry the volatile fraction: the part that oxidises, and the part you can smell.
Low temperature, never rushed with heat.
The scienceHeat is the enemy of a lipid. High temperatures oxidise the unsaturated bonds and cleave fatty acids into the short-chain compounds responsible for the smell of ordinary tallow. Rendering cool keeps the triglyceride structure intact.
Repeated separation over weeks until only the lipid remains. No steam stripping, no deodorising chemicals.
The scienceRemoves proteins, water and residual solids — the fraction that carries odour, colour, and anything that could irritate. What is left is triglycerides and nothing else.
